迷霧森林的王者-----黑長尾雉，台灣俗稱帝雉 台灣的夏天真的是太熱了，所以特別到台灣台中的大雪山森林遊樂區避暑，果然台灣的亞熱帶氣候加上午後雷陣雨的天氣，到了大雪山卻花了大多數的時間在躲雨。 還好在短暫的大雨後，山嵐密布山谷之間時，期待的黑長尾雉夫妻終於出現，在雨後涼爽的高山上，靜靜的看著黑長尾雉夫妻的覓食，我保持10公尺左右的低姿態，與他們平靜的共處大約30分鐘，然後看著它們逐漸隱沒在樹叢中。 與迷霧森林亡者的短暫相聚，是那麼美好的回憶，期待來年的春天，能在看到你們的全家大小光臨大雪山。 The King of the Misty Forest — Mikado Pheasant, known in Taiwan as the "Emperor Pheasant" Taiwan's summer is truly scorching, so I made a special trip to the Dasyueshan National Forest Recreation Area in Taichung to escape the heat. As expected, Taiwan's subtropical climate, combined with afternoon thunderstorms, meant that I ended up spending most of the time in Dasyueshan hiding from the rain. Fortunately, after a brief downpour, when the mountain mist began to fill the valleys, the long-awaited pair of Mikado Pheasants finally appeared. On the cool mountain after the rain, I quietly observed the pair foraging, maintaining a low posture about 10 meters away, peacefully sharing their space for around 30 minutes before watching them gradually disappear into the forest. That brief encounter with the king of the misty forest was such a beautiful memory. I look forward to next spring, hoping to see the entire family of Mikado Pheasants visiting Dasyueshan once again.
