Piccola Cir // Via Ferrata in the Dolomites

The Italian Dolomites are known for their exaggerated steepness and overall awesomeness. In this video, my sister, my friend Elias from Germany, and myself ascend a relatively easy Via Ferrata to the peak of a granite tower in the Dolomites. A Via Ferrata is a series of iron bars and cables that the user clips into with a harness to prevent deadly falls while climbing. This is far simpler and faster than sport or trad climbing and still allows access to amazing peaks with technical ascents. The term Via Ferrata means "Iron way" in italian, which is where the idea came about.
