Japanese lotus flowers are unique. The green leaves are large, soft, and round. And the lotus flowers, whether they are in bloom or not, are beautiful. Ueno Park and Shinobazu Pond are famous for having one of the largest lotus fields you will ever see. The pond is covered with beautiful white or pink lotus flowers. It is amazing to have a park right in the middle of one of the largest cities in the world! This year (2014), the lotus flowers in Ueno Park seem to be blooming late, so there is still plenty of time to walk around and admire them, probably until late August. #japantravel #uenopark #tokyo #ueno #dulichnhatban #dulichtokyo #japanholiday
