Arriving in Lombok, Indonesia — slow travel days, island life, tropical rain and finally sunshine. Exploring the island at a relaxed pace and soaking in the coastal views. In this part of our journey, we arrive on the island of Lombok and intentionally slow things down. After weeks of moving around, this feels like the perfect place to take it easy, enjoy the surroundings, and gently explore the island. We switch accommodations and settle into island life, but the first few days bring heavy rain. Instead of rushing around, we embrace the slower rhythm — resting, recharging, and simply enjoying where we are. After a few grey days, the sun finally makes an appearance. We head out to enjoy the warm weather, take in the views, and end the day with a beautiful beach walk and sunset.
