Exploring Dual Gauge Cattle Docks at the disused Welshpool Railway Station

As a follow up to my original Exploring Welshpool Station video, here is a look at the former cattle docks located a hundred yards from the old station. The docks were served by both the narrow gauge Welshpool and Llanfair Railway, and the standard gauge Cambrian Railway. The narrow gauge line was open from 1903 to 1956, so this is presumably when the cattle docks were in use. Today the docks survive in remarkably good condition, while the former station building is now a retail store. Filmed 7th January 2024.
