Our Guest: Dr. Diego Delgado is the Director of the Cardiac Amyloid Centre and Associate Professor in the Division of Cardiology and Cardiac Transplantation at the University Health Network in Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Diego Delgado graduated in Medicine from the Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He completed his Internal Medicine and Cardiology training in Hospital Espanol in Buenos Aires. Subsequently he completed a research fellowship in cardiac transplantation at Rush Presbyterian St Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, US and a research/clinical fellowship in heart failure and transplantation at the Toronto General Hospital. Dr. Delgado completed his Maters of Science in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Toronto and the Leadership Development Program at Rotman School of Management in Toronto. He is the author of more than 100 publications in the area of heart failure, transplantation and mechanical assist devices.
