A brand new video in celebration of #buffyslays20 !! (.. are hashtags a thing on youtube?) This show has always been, and will continue to be, my ultimate favourite show ever. #20yearsofbuffy goes to show a lot of people were affected by this show and im sure it will continue to kick ass for another 20 years! Alright so truthfully, this isn't what you would call 'a celebration' video; i'm almost certain they're meant to be a bit more hopeful and upbeat! I started making this video back in... october? possibly? and decided to finish it today in honour of this anniversary. This didn't turn out exactly as I hoped; I really wanted more of an emotional punch, and I feel this missed its mark. I've used both series and i tried to stray a little from the love stories and focus on relationships in general; love, family, friendships, etc. I don't know, what do you guys think? oh and by the way, after doing an angel rewatch, why did I never appreciate Wesley as a character when I was younger? His character is so complex and has so many layers, I assume I was just too young to understand the magnitude of the choices he was forced to make, and how he was always the guy that had to put emotions aside for the greater good.
