But the Spanish Inquisition wasn't even the first inquisition in Spain! Let's look at the history of the Spanish Inquisition and how men like Torquemada, Grand Inquisitor, perpetrated torture and murder with consent from the Catholic Church. Perhaps you saw Torquemada in the Assassin's Creed movie - that scene was at an auto-da-fé, an event where heretics were rounded up and burned. And don't worry - I go over all the different torture devices as well. From the strappado to the rack, the iron chair to the pear of anguish (which probably wasn't real, like the iron maiden).
