Wales mountain wild camp at over 3000ft. I met up with ‪@AndrewBeavers‬ and Scott (aka ‪@itsmescottp‬ in the Ogwen Valley for a night on the Glyders. After the ascent of Tryfan via the north ridge we dropped down to Bristly Ridge. Unfortunately we decided, due the the 35mph winds, not to risk this route and headed onto the Glyders via the bypass pass on the eastern side of the ridge. We found a pitching spot at 3100ft near Castell y Gwynt with views towards the Snowdon range. I was in my MLD Duomid, Andy in his Terra Nova Voyager, and Scott in his Durston Gear X-Mid. Our return route the following morning was via Y Gribin Ridge and back to the Ogwen Valley. Always a pleasure spending time with these guys. An 8 mile (12.8km) walk with 3500ft (1066m) of ascent. Drone used in this video was the DJI Mini 3.
