Erlang is a language co-created by the late Joe Armstrong, that runs on a virtual machine with the slogan -- 'write once, run forever'. The language boosts many features like support for lightweight processes with message passing, process isolation, swapable code, and more. Erlang is primarily labeled a 'functional' language with features such as pattern matching, pattern guards, list comprehensions, higher-order functions, and more. Overall, it's a fun language to learn, and could be potentially very useful in many domains where concurrency and fault-tolerance are required. As an aside, Erlang was used to create one of my favorite tools -- wings3d! As always, let me know what resources/tools I missed that others should know about in the comments below! ►YouTube Channel: / mikeshah ►Please like and subscribe to help the channel! ►Join our free community: https://courses.mshah.io/communities/...
