Honda has taken a significant step into the future of electric mobility by revealing the first two prototypes in its new 0 Series lineup at the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show. The two vehicles, the Honda 0 Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) and Honda 0 Saloon, showcase Honda’s innovative approach to electric vehicle (EV) design and technology. Production versions of these prototypes are expected to arrive in North America in 2026, followed by releases in global markets such as Europe and Japan. But Honda’s announcements went far beyond vehicles, introducing groundbreaking technology like its ASIMO Operating System and cutting-edge energy solutions that promise to redefine the EV experience. The Honda 0 SUV prototype is a mid-size electric vehicle built on Honda’s newly developed EV architecture. Inspired by last year’s Space-Hub concept, this model emphasizes a “Thin, Light, and Wise” design approach. The result is a spacious cabin with exceptional visibility and versatile interior layouts. Inside, Honda envisions the SUV as more than just a mode of transportation—it is a “space” where passengers can relax, work, or connect with one another. The advanced ASIMO Operating System enhances this vision by enabling a highly personalized digital user experience. From adaptive cabin settings to ultra-responsive controls, the SUV prototype is tailored to meet the needs of individual users. In addition, the SUV introduces next-generation technologies such as a steer-by-wire system. This innovative setup integrates control over the steering, suspension, and braking systems, resulting in precise handling and improved driving dynamics. Production of the Honda 0 SUV will begin at Honda’s EV Hub in Ohio, with the first models hitting the North American market in the first half of 2026. Shortly after, the SUV will debut in Europe and Japan. If the Honda 0 SUV sets the bar, the Honda 0 Saloon raises it even higher. As the flagship of the 0 Series, this sleek, wedge-shaped vehicle blends sporty aesthetics with state-of-the-art technology. Despite its low-slung profile, the Saloon surprises with a spacious interior designed for comfort and functionality. Like the SUV, the Saloon incorporates the ASIMO Operating System, delivering personalized features and advanced driver-assistance capabilities. It also showcases Honda’s progress in automated driving technology, including Level 3 hands-free functionality that allows drivers to focus on other activities, such as watching a movie or participating in virtual meetings, while the vehicle handles the road. Production for the Honda 0 Saloon is scheduled to begin in late 2026, with an initial launch in North America before expanding globally. Honda’s ASIMO Operating System is the digital brain behind the 0 Series. Named after the beloved humanoid robot introduced in 2000, the ASIMO Operating System is a nod to Honda’s long-standing commitment to innovation and robotics. The system integrates and manages vehicle functions, from automated driving to in-vehicle entertainment, while allowing continuous improvements through over-the-air software updates. By building on the technology used in the original ASIMO robot, Honda has created a platform that can learn, adapt, and provide a tailored experience for every driver. This includes features like dynamic vehicle controls and a user interface that evolves based on individual preferences. Beyond the vehicles themselves, Honda is reimagining the EV ownership experience. The company announced plans to establish a robust charging network in North America, in collaboration with other automakers, with at least 30,000 high-quality charging stations by 2030. Honda also plans to adopt the North American Charging Standard for its 0 Series models, ensuring seamless access to a growing network of over 100,000 charging points. Additionally, Honda’s new Home Energy Management System aims to optimize energy use by integrating EVs into household energy grids. This system will allow 0 Series vehicles to charge during off-peak hours, reducing electricity costs, and even feed energy back to the grid during peak times, creating a win-win for both consumers and the environment. With the 0 Series, Honda is not just launching electric vehicles—it is redefining what it means to own and drive one. From the sophisticated ASIMO Operating System to visionary energy solutions, the Honda 0 Series is designed to offer more than mobility. It is a step toward a sustainable, connected, and smarter future. As the world eagerly awaits the production models in 2026, Honda’s bold vision at CES 2025 reminds us that the future of driving is not just electric—it is also intelligent, personalized, and inspiring. #honda0series #ces2025 #electricvehicles Get More Great Car Videos - Subscribe: https://goo.gl/BSIaFc
