Shooting Film in Italy

For our honeymoon, my wife and I spent three weeks in Italy. I really wanted somewhere to park all of the videos and photos I took, so I made this. Almost all of the images shown were shot on film, except for a couple of rooftop photos in the middle of the video. I tried to denote which camera was used via sound effects, although to be honest I didn’t spend a whole lot of time finessing here. It was really enjoyable to make a travel video just for the sake of it. I’ve shared it in person with my parents and hers, and some additional family members, and it felt very nostalgic — like when my aunt and uncle used to show us pictures of their across-the-world surfing adventures on a slide projector in their darkened living room.
