This powerful testimony reminds us that our comfort zones can become spiritual blind spots, keeping us from fully relying on God and fulfilling our true purpose. The central message revolves around stepping outside what feels safe to embrace what God is calling us to do, even when we're terrified. Drawing from 2 Corinthians 1:3-5, we're challenged to recognize that the comfort God gives us isn't meant to be hoarded—it's meant to be shared with others who are struggling. The near-fatal accident becomes a metaphor for how quickly our carefully constructed plans can unravel, yet how miraculously God can intervene when we surrender control. But here's the deeper question that emerges: If we were one of the twelve disciples tasked with spreading the Gospel, how would we measure up? When was the last time we actually shared our faith with someone who needs to hear it? The Romans Road to Salvation is laid out simply—we've all sinned, the consequence is death, but God's gift through Christ is eternal life for those who believe and confess. This isn't just about getting to heaven someday; it's about taking up our cross daily, as Luke 9:23-24 commands. We're reminded that church isn't just about potlucks and comfortable routines—it's a recharging station that equips us to go out and win souls for Christ. The challenge is clear: pray for those who need saving, even our enemies, and remember that our days are numbered in ways we can't predict. Vision Statement Destiny Cowboy Church will be a western culture congregation working to enlarge God’s heavenly ranch by spreading the gospel of salvation throughout the hills and valleys surrounding our meeting place.
