#MigrantWorkers #Gurugram #Delhi Read story here:https://tinyurl.com/ybkwsxt8 In what took the Gurugram police by complete surprise, hundreds of people apparently marched towards the city trying to enter from Kapasera and Bijwasan borders. Claiming to be workers of industrial units in Udyog Vihar, these people, not carrying any valid passes, tried to cross over the border and ended up in an altercation with the local police -- from heated arguments to even stone-pelting at Salahpur in Palam Vihar area. They tried to force their entry but were stopped by the Gurugram police. The cops guarding borders sustained minor injuries and claimed that despite having a check-point, Delhi Police did not stop the mob. The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
