It's always fun when friends bring their best engines over to run on your layout. In this case Brian Elchlepp's rebuilt Portland Terminal Railroad Alco T6 switcher does some switching on Burr Stewart's HO scale train layout, while Scott Wiesemann's brand new Rapido Sacramento Northern GE 44-tonner cruises by. Burr narrates the action with his usual light-hearted descriptions of the action and equipment. At the end, Brian's "fantasy" BCR Alco C-425 engine with a "hockey stick" paint scheme hauls a cut of cars east through Delta yard towards Stevens Pass. Burr's HO/HOn3 model railroad is set in the BN's Seattle region in 1973, three years after the 1970 corporate merger that created the Burlington Northern (BN) Railway out of the Great Northern (GN), Northern Pacific (NP), Burlington Route (CB&Q) and the Spokane, Portland and Seattle (SP&S) railroads. Playing smaller roles on the layout are the three-foot narrow gage (HOn3) D&RGW fictitious "west coast extension", the Milwaukee Road (MILW)'s western extension and the Union Pacific (UP). (Not to mention the BCR and the SN!) Many other videos about Burr's HO model train layout are on this channel @muchfunwithtrains, which includes both model and prototype footage of trains, mostly in the Seattle region. This particular session ran on 19 Sept 2024, and the video clips were taken by a handheld iPhoneX and an AKASO action cam. Burr edited it using Blackmagic's Davinci Resolve 19 on a Macbook pro. 0:00 Introduction 0:42 Delta yard 1:11 Switching propellers in S.
