Using a Raspberry Pi and Hyperion Hyperbian, as well as a capture card, HDMI splitter and an LED strip, I was able to light up the perimeter of the TV, replicating the colours on the screen in real time and essentially extending the edges. The results in the video don’t do justice on how amazing it looks in person. This was a fairly easy, fun, and straightforward DIY project that didn't take too long or cost too much to do. ------------------------- [AMAZON] Raspberry Pi: https://amzn.to/3SsYqaQ SD Card: https://amzn.to/3Ym1xW3 LED Strip: https://amzn.to/3SSZkhp Capture Card: https://amzn.to/3ybisQy HDMI Splitter: https://amzn.to/3ygNEOh Power Supply: https://amzn.to/4iWGrp7 Barrel Jack Connector: https://amzn.to/4d4tuGb Dupont Wiring: https://amzn.to/4dmjo3p LED Strip Connectors: https://amzn.to/4d3iJ7g Philips Hue TV Gradient Lightstrip: https://amzn.to/4d0pAhR Govee TV Backlight T2: https://amzn.to/3Wpt1r3 Nanoleaf 4D: https://amzn.to/4d8LLCn Disclaimer: I earn a small commission when you use one of my affiliate links with no additional cost to you.
