Welcome To Our Channel Learn How To Make Nihari In Just 3 Steps How to make Nihari To make nihari, you will need the following ingredients: 500 grams of beef or lamb, cut into pieces 200ml of oil or ghee 1 onions, finely sliced 2 tablespoons of ginger-garlic paste 2 tablespoons of nihari masala (available in stores or you can make your own) ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder 2 teaspoon of red chili powder Salt to taste 3 cups of water 200gm of gram flour (optional, for thickening) Fresh coriander leaves and ginger slices for garnish Here's a step-by-step guide to making nihari: 1. Heat oil or ghee in a large pot or pressure cooker over medium heat. Add sliced onions and cook until golden brown. 2. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute until fragrant. 3. Add the meat pieces and cook until they are browned on all sides. 4. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well to coat the meat with the spices. 5. Pour in water and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and cover the pot. Let it simmer for 2-3 hours until the meat is tender. If using a pressure cooker, cook for about 30 minutes. 6. If you prefer a thicker gravy, mix gram flour with a little water to make a smooth paste. Add this paste to the nihari and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes until the gravy thickens. 7. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and ginger slices. 8. Serve hot with naan or rice.
