Testing 'Lyn' a Baldwin 2-4-2 - 7 1/4 Narrow Gauge Live Steam

Hello viewers, we have a new addition to the Stogursey Light Railway, a model of Lyn, a 2-4-2 Locomotive built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1898 for the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway. While the original Lyn was scrapped in 1935, a complete recreation of the locomotive exists, having been completed in 2017, and bears the same name as its precursor. Now we have our own 3" scale version for our railway. Seen here in it's test steaming after some modifications to run on our line, we have some tight curves and a with a locomotive as long as Lyn, we've taken our time to make sure she's comfortable around around the track. Still some work to be done to get her 100% but we feel a great addition to our lovely little railway, can't wait to see her pulling some rolling stock up the 'Mickey Incline'.
