After years of dreaming, we finally did it — we bought a retired tour bus and turned it into a luxury tiny home on wheels! Our goal was to build something affordable, family-friendly, and high-quality using DIY creativity and determination. We've been camping since 2016 and we have had 3 rigs before this bus - a travel trailer, a diesel pusher motorhome, and a 5th wheel. As our travel desires have changed over the years we have changed rigs to accommodate our family. This new rig is our favorite yet, and we built it ourselves! In this video, we’ll walk you through our entire bus conversion process, share our budget breakdown, and give you a full tour of our custom-built RV — complete with a kitchen, bunks for the kids, and our favorite design upgrades that make bus life feel like home. This bus is built on a 1997 Prevost H3-45 passenger bus. We spent 8+ hours a day for 4 months to build our dream motorhome, all for about $40,000.
