Naim NAC D3 CD Player. Top audiophile unit ready for mods and new owner.

This excellent CD player features Philips legendary CDM-9 magnetic drive friction-less mechanism and Philips TDA1541A S1 Single Crown D/A converter. It also features star topology grounding and 11 (!) regulators, each for a different parts of circuit. Beautiful engineering here. It was a simple repair with only couple of filtering capacitors in the -5V supply regulator circuit replaced. Unit is as new and although there is no remote, I included one of old Philips remotes which works well with this unit. Can (easily) fit digital coaxial output (SPDIF) from pin 14 of the Philips 7220 chip and/or a pair of RCA single ended outputs in parallel with Naim's 5 pin DIN socket (via pair of exact same tantalum caps they use and as per Lampizator's notes).
