Materials which might give a similar look to the artists own works are utilised. Friedensreich Hundertwasser was an Austrian artist, born in 1928. He had a diverse practise that incorporated drawing, painting and printmaking. Hundertwasser was known as an artist, architect, writer, designer and environmental activist. In his practice, he worked towards a “dream-state” that strives to create a better world. This motif stemmed from his personal experience of the Second World War. His work was full of colour, strong imagery & he is well known for rejecting the straight line. He often mixed landscapes and portraiture together, creating a unique and distinctive style.
