Man Transformed 3 Junk Cars Into a Bugatti! -Watch Insane Transformation ! ----------------------------------------------- Today, we dive into one of the wildest car builds ever attempted by the legendary team at Axes: Garage, the creative minds behind Dashing Axe. This project, dubbed the “Volgatti,” transforms three very different vehicles into a custom Bugatti-inspired masterpiece. The build begins with a Mitsubishi Eclipse serving as the base, chosen for its versatile chassis. However, to incorporate the retro style of a GAZ-21 Volga’s boxy, classic lines, the Eclipse’s framework had to be completely reworked. Large sections of the floor pan, wheel wells, and lower body panels were cut away, making room for a completely new structure that could support the larger Volga body. Precision was paramount in this transformation. Using CNC machining, the crew fabricated custom subframes and mounting brackets with millimeter accuracy. The goal was to create a rock-solid connection between the original Eclipse chassis and the heftier Volga panels. The next stage involved crafting new body contours. Carved foam was used as a template for everything from the hood to the rear fenders. These foam pieces were meticulously cut, glued, and hand-sanded to achieve perfectly smooth curves before being reinforced with multiple layers of fiberglass. Special care was taken to protect the foam during the fiberglass lamination process by applying a protective barrier that prevented the raw resin from dissolving the underlying material. The process continued with significant modifications to the front of the vehicle. The front glass was removed using industrial-grade cutting tools after first detaching parts of the Eclipse’s structural framework. This allowed the team to adapt the chassis to fit the bold, angular design of the Volga panels. Masking tape ensured that every cut was symmetric and accurate. The project then moved to a full mockup stage where the new panels were fitted onto the chassis, and precise measurements were taken. Adjustments were made to widen the wheel arches, extend or shorten the chassis, and add extra reinforcement where needed. Manual pipe bending was used to form a custom roof structure that not only enhanced aesthetics but also added rigidity and improved aerodynamics. Realizing the Eclipse could no longer meet the build’s demands, the team switched to a BMW 6 Series chassis to provide the necessary strength and compatibility for the massive overhaul. Advanced welding techniques and high-performance adhesives joined new mounting points and custom panels to the chassis. The rear section was similarly refined, with added side skirts and integrated chrome accents that meld retro charm with modern flair. The final touches included custom suspension components managed by an Electronic Control Unit, precision-cut rims, and a bespoke paint job paying homage to Bugatti’s legacy. This entire process blends meticulous engineering, artistic vision, and advanced fabrication techniques into a singular project that fuses classic design with state-of-the-art performance. ------------------------------------------ AXES GARAGE Instagram: / lihojtopor Youtube: / @dashingaxe Youtube2: / @lihojtopor Facebook: / toporlihoj Email: [email protected] Other2: / dashingaxe For any issue please contact us at 👇🏻 [email protected] Facebook : / ttienglish007 Instagram : / top_10_information Twitter : / tti_english ------------------------------------------ Disclaimer: TTI English is not affiliated with the businesses whose products are shown in this review.
