Until this app is changed, DO NOT use this smartwatch or app for measuring ECG! DECRIPTION: The DT98 includes a fake ECG function which is totally simulated, an unfortunate addition that should have been left off of this otherwise fine wearable. This smartwatch also takes PPG readings (red diode) to compute heart rate, blood pressure, and blood oxygen and those values are seamlessly transferred to the Fundo app. With included TPU and metal detachable bands, you can choose a sports or dress/business look to your watch. Now in this video we really rip this watch apart to its bare bones and examine each part (I explain why in the video — sorry Mrs. Ticks!). It totally destroyed the watch, but it was worth it. Now we really know what's inside these things, including the fact that there is absolutely no electrical hookup to the electrical plates on the back which, supposedly, are used to generate the ECG chart in the Fundo app (which has been proven to be fake)!
