If your Samsung phone suddenly became network locked after a recent update, this video explains why it happened and how to fix it. This issue has been reported after the January 2026 Samsung update, especially on newer U.S. Samsung devices that were previously unlocked using the Limited Country Unlock (Relock) method. After updating, the phone may show Network Locked, Phone Locked, or even ask for an MCK unlock code, including on carriers that normally don’t require one. In this video, I show a working fix by flashing an older modem (CP) firmware with the same BIT version, and I also explain how to disable Samsung system updates to prevent the relock from happening again. The update-disable method shown here can also be used in general on Samsung phones, even if you are not affected by this specific relock issue, for example if you want to avoid problematic updates or keep a stable firmware version. Supported / reported working models Samsung Galaxy S25 Series: SM-S938U, SM-S937U, SM-S936U, SM-S931U Samsung Galaxy S24 Series: SM-S928U, SM-S926U, SM-S921U Samsung Galaxy Fold 6: SM-F956U Samsung Galaxy Flip 6: SM-F741U This fix may also work on other Samsung models if an older firmware with the same BIT version is available and the device was unlocked using the same method. ADB commands to disable Samsung system updates Run these commands with USB debugging enabled and the phone connected to your PC: adb shell cmd package disable-user --user 0 com.wssyncmldm adb shell cmd package uninstall --user 0 com.sec.android.soagent Tools used in this video Odin download link: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=9180...
