Acute pancreatitis is a potentially lethal disease affecting the patient’s quality of life. About 20% of patients with mild pancreatitis progress to necrotizing pancreatitis that mostly requires necrosectomy. Patient outcomes, rate of complications, and proinflammatory response vary with surgical necrosectomy and endoscopic transgastric necrosectomy. In this regard, Docplexus, together with the IAGES, has organized a re-run of the exclusive sessions held at the INDO-UK SURGICON 2021. We are in the 7th week of the sessions that will cover various aspects of Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary.
