From UK to France – exploring Normandy in the sun We finally left UK and got the early Eurotunnel to Calais, driving through France to reach Normandy by the afternoon. We’ve had such a brilliant time exploring the area – staying by the beach, learning more about the history of the region, including D-Day memorial and American Cemetery at Omaha beach, and the old monastic town of Mont St Michel. Plus Jai had loads of fun cycling, playing at the beach, and learning a bit of French!
