Here is a video of working on Early Neuro Stimulation and Early Scent Introduction with our Australian Labradoodle puppies. We do these exercises days 3-16 to kickstart their bodies, build resilience to stress, strengthen heartbeat and adrenal function. These exercises were created by the US military to help their dogs be more resilient. These exercises do not replace a solid socialization protocol, but rather strengthen it. This litter's parents are both working dogs, mom Nessie is a helper dog in my training program and a therapy dog, dad Bodhi is a Multipurpose Service Dog for his owner. Our goal with this litter is working prospects - Service, Comfort and Therapy dogs, as well as exceptional pets. We will also be following puppy culture and additional socialization activities I have found helpful, as well as temperament testing the puppies to find them homes. If you are looking to add a new pup to your family and buying from a breeder, I highly recommend putting work into finding someone who is doing and demonstrating all of these things, as they are much more likely to have physically and mentally healthy puppies that are safer and easier to raise.
