How to network with people in business (NETWORKING EVENTS) Step 1: Talk to as many people as possible. First Ask them: Hi, what's your name?.... What do you do?... That's awesome. Let's stay in touch. Exchange business cards. NEXT Step 2: Txt follow up same day. Hi (name), this is Donovan. It was great meeting you today! Let's stay in touch. I'm gonna give you a call tomorrow. Have a good evening! Step 3: Call the following day Hi (name), this is Donovan. How are you? That's awesome. I wanted to ask you when you would be available to meet and see how we can help each other? Step 4: Appointment For Clients (my example is real estate agents) What's your story and what do you do? What are your goals? (more sellers and buyers) That's awesome. I help agents get 100 local buyers and sellers reaching out to you every month. (Then have a demo of the system to show them. You don't have to do much selling because you are showing them how to reach their goals. They'll ask how much.... you take it from there.) For Referrals What's your story and what do you do? What are your goals? How can I help you reach your goals? Who is an ideal referral for you? Awesome, I go to a lot of networking events and meet a lot of (ideal referral). Next time I come across a (ideal referral) I'll send them your way. By the way, do you know any real estate agents? COLLECT LEAD This what I have been doing at networking events. A few things to keep in mind is QUANTITY over QUALITY. You want to collect as many business cards as possible. Also, remember that your goal is to get answers (yes's and no's).
