Crafty Cumbrians: Carvetii Coffee

We love working with all the talented producers in Cumbria to produce our beer. One of our favourites is Carvetii Coffee in Threlkeld. Carvetii roast the best coffee in Cumbria and we have used their espresso in a number of our beers. Most recently we have used Carvetii coffee in our Smoooth Sippin' Coco Chino, blending it with French Fuggle hops, coconut milk and Carifa 3 malt. The result is a super smooth and silky ale, which drinks like a pale, looks like a porter and has delicious undertones of coffee and coconut. We produced the beer as part of our Eden Student Design Project, which challenged graphic design students at University of Cumbria to create the cans for two special beers, Smooth Sippin' Coco Chino and Thirsty Dog.
