This Advent service marks the beginning of the season of expectation as The Fountain Church reflects on the arrival of Jesus Christ and the promises fulfilled through His birth. Through Scripture, prayer, testimony, worship, and communion, the church centers its heart on the true meaning of Advent. Featuring multiple guest speakers, this service walks through the four traditional Advent themes—Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love—as represented by the lighting of the Advent candles. Scripture from Isaiah, Luke, John, Romans, Hebrews, and Philippians reminds us that biblical hope is secure, peace is found in Christ alone, joy transcends circumstances, and love is revealed most fully in Jesus. This gathering invites believers to slow down during the Christmas season and remember that Christ is our deliverer, our peace in suffering, our source of joy, and the greatest gift of love ever given.
