THE CUMBRIA WAY - LAKE DISTRICT - Day 1 of 7 - Ulverston to Torver
This is a series of 7 video's showing you every inch of the 74 Mile Cumbria Way in all it's glory. Filmed from the 13th to the 19th May 2018 in wonderful sunny conditions. The walk was being completed to raise money for the MARIE CURIE charity, which is close to the heart of 78 year old David Galloway who has survived Cancer not once but twice. It is also close to all the rest of the team, namely Rob Dixon, Graham Saunders and Chris Blake who's wife Sharon was keen for us to raise this money as tender Hospice comfort was given to her Father in his final years. The total amount raised will be given in the final video. Music is provided by The Bus Boys with 'The boys are back in Town', Ben Mills with 'A little help from my friends', Manuel Inman with 'This moment called now' and Craig Armstrong with 'Finding Beauty'. Special thanks to our Sherpa - CLARE HARVEY and the wonderful people who looked after our cars and kit in Carlisle, MARY and DEREK ASHBRIDGE. Without your unselfish hard work and help this walk would not have been possible, Thank you so much.
