A tribal woman in Manipur was allegedly shot and burnt to death by militants during an attack on a Hmar tribal village in Jiribam District. Police have confirmed a gunfight took place, with several houses set on fire, but the woman's body has yet to be found. Security forces and experts are investigating the incident at Zairon Village. The Indigenous Tribal Advocacy Committee of Jiribam District has issued a statement confirming the attack, where around ten houses were burnt.
