Copyright 2019 | Brandon Mendel (Reuse allowed with permission). Originally Recorded 1/5/2019 Here's one of Harrison County's strange 2001-130/SRNB "things". If you're new to the siren game, 2001-130s have an elongated intake box compared to older models like the -SRN and -SRNB. But the sticker on this one labels this as an -SRNB, so which is it? I suspect these are very early -130s in which there weren't any -130 stickers to place on the rotators yet. So, they just used the previous generation's labels. As long as Federal Signal could get their name on the siren, they didn't mind. This one is located at the fire department near Frenchtown, Indiana, one of those small towns that you can pass in a blink of an eye. There's another east of New Salisbury and possibly another one elsewhere in the county. There's a few others around the country lurking around as well. So, what would you call this? A 2001-130 or a 2001-SRNB. Definitely leave your thoughts below. Enjoy, and as always comment, like, and subscribe for more. Thanks!
