HWY 215 Road Review - One of the Best Driving Roads in Western North Carolina

HWY 215 is located near Brevard, NC and is part of the greater "Carolina Loop" which encompasses HWY 276, 215, and 276 and dips into South Carolina. HWY 215 can be picked up from the South off of HWY 64, or from the North at the Blue Ridge Parkway, or further North from the mountain towns Canton or Waynesville. HWY 215 has three distinct sections with the section at the North heading South from the Parkway offering gorgeous views and in the winter, ice formations on the rock faces. North of the Parkway as well as the Southernmost portion are the most technical and require precision driving/riding as the corners are tight and the road narrow.
