I'm hardly an expert on gold fountain pen nibs, but I do have several of them. Recently, I purchased a couple of gold nibs from China to see how they'd compare with my Japanese nibs, and I'm really very happy with both of them. One of them is in the WingSung / Junlai 600, and it has a rose-gold plated nib, and the other is a silver-toned PenBBS No.4 Calligraphy nib. In this video, I give you an overview of my experiences with both. Ultimately, I really like both of them. I probably wouldn't buy the WingSung pen just for the nib, but it's such a nice pen overall that I would certainly buy another one. The PenBBS is one of the best nibs that I own.
