WHISTLER at the DOUBLE! 40012 joins the LSL fleet and is collected by 40013! Plus 60046 & More!

See LSL operated D213/40013 'Andania' arriving back at Crewe after collecting sister loco D212/40012 ‘Aureol’ from East Lancs Railway following ythe recent acquisition of the loco by Andania Engineering Ltd. After a driver change - D213 is tasked with moving D212 onwards to Worksop where it will spend a few months having its engine rebuilt, plus other mechanical and cosmetic repairs. Hopefully we'll get to see these 2 fantastic locos working together in 2026-2027, working for LSL. A few other loco moves included with 60046 heading to Penmaenmawr, plus its great to see some gardening has been taking place at Crewe with the Horse Landing Sidings having been cleared of growth.
