In this Dev Diary, I’m taking you along on an early test flight for my upcoming A-10 Fulda Gap 1985 campaign for DCS World. This fictional “Cold War gone hot” scenario places you in the cockpit of an A-10 during the first seven days of a Warsaw Pact invasion in Germany. In this video, you’ll see how a mission looks right after the initial Mission Editor phase — including debug messages, trigger checks, balancing adjustments, and performance testing. As always, the focus of the campaign is on: Immersive storytelling Accessible mission design Historically grounded atmosphere Engaging gameplay Keep in mind that everything shown in this video is still work in progress.
