We cannot say that this is a "Summing up 2024 " Post, but it's definitely the Highlight of 2024 post. KathakBeats took shape and form in 2020, it started taking baby steps in 2021, it became bigger in 2022, it saw many changes in 2023, but through this all its been the most stable and content through 2024. 5th year to be precise, was no less than bundle of joy , grateful experiences and much much stronger bonds! You know why Kalabhoomi 2024 becomes the highlight of this year, not because we put up a show, but all the wonderful bits and pieces of Kathakbeats family came together as one in only the rightful manner and put up a show that was nothing short of an emotion. I cannot think of a more loyal, trustworthy and faithful moment than those 10days, where most of our students from various parts of the world came down in Mumbai together only for the purpose of dance, for the purpose of feeling that energy with fellow dancers and not the least but for the love they have for us! I remember talking to most of them personally, on how they're going to manage and going to make it possible, but back then Kalabhoomi 2024 was the only aim and felt like anything could be adjusted around it. I had students who stood like a rock and supported through this process! I truly think this is the besssst memory of this year. And I cannot thank enough to my parents, parents in law, my Gurus , my lovely daughter and truly my better half - Siddharth, for letting me spread my wings while they became the air beneath! And to my lovely students- we've just started, I hope pray and wish that we all have much much much more stored in this journey of dance to exchange within us and the world!❤️ Love, Sanika!
