Midwinter Fan Remaster Early Pre-Alpha Release - Playtest NOW!

This is a standalone release of the Midwinter Fan Remaster. Look around, break things, restart as needed. May be buggy. Try navigating the menus, moving to locations in the strategic map and skiing around. If you stop near a building press X to get to the building entry screen (WIP). When you get to this site you will have to install the itch.io app, this allows installing this demo and pushes quick updates when the MW app/demo gets new features. The MMW app is large due to maps and map surfaces. I have never done this before and can't predict the end-to-end user experience of downloading, installing and running - so feedback on that is also encouraged. You will be exploring a 160,000 square mile island. And there's ultimately no real gameplay - this is just a demo of the early state of the game. I am calling it "pre-alpha" rather than prototype since the system as-is forms the starting point for creating a game in this world.
