The Fundamentals of Timber Engineering educational learning resource package has been developed to help deliver timber engineering topics in institutes that do not currently teach timber through ‘stand-alonestudent-directed learning’, or in institutes where timber engineering is already included, to ‘assist lecturers in their face-to-face delivery’. The educational learning resource package contains three elements: 1) stand-alone presentation videos and supplementary video clips 2) PowerPoint files 3) assessment questions Student Directed Learning For stand-alone ‘student-directed learning’ students can learn at their own pace using the presentation sequence suggested below; they would be provided with access to all topic presentation videos and video clips.
