We had an absolute blast in Moalboal Cebu, in this video I will give you the FULL run down of exactly what we got up to whilst in Moalboal and exploring Cebu, all the hidden waterfalls gems and our favourite spots for food. Is Moalboal the Philippines Adventure Central? I think so! ✨ An emotional reunion with my dad and younger brother!! They flew out from the UK to spend Christmas with us here in the Philippines and it was a MAGICAL moment seeing them walk through Cebu International Arrivals! ✨ Filipino food favourites out in Moalboal at the Hungry Monkey! ✨ Hidden Waterfalls - we had this all to ourselves with no one in sight! Absolutely incredible to find places like this in tourist heavy areas. ✨ Food Night Market with SO many different options in Moalboal - El Mercado. Best and cheapest food in Moalboal! ✨ Magical morning swimming with the Whale Sharks in Oslob and a true reflection of how busy it actually was. The moments we had with the whale sharks were really incredible but I do worry they allow too many numbers of tourists to go out all at once and some concern's whether this is a natural phenomenon or a tourist trap... I think everyone will have a different opinion here. I was happy that by making it a tourist place, they protect the whale sharks from being hunted. Overall, we enjoyed our time here but think more regulations and limited numbers would be better here. ✨ Insane crazy afternoon at Kawsan Falls! We opted for Highland Adventure Tours who were absolutely fantastic. We arrived at 2pm and had the entire Kawsan Falls to ourselves!! Everyone online says to go early morning, but I have seen videos of sooo many people early morning whereas we had it to ourselves. We had such a laugh jumping off cliffs, falling headfirst down rapids, wizzing down ziplines, hanging from rope swings, swimming in waterfalls and taking in the most gorgeous scenery. The guides really made our experience even better, thank you to the Highland crew! ✨ Our last day we saw a Volcano errupt from Moalboal beach which was pretty epic before heading into the sea. Just a few moments from shore, we saw millions of sardines all swimming around us. Such an incredible experience! We also saw around 10 turtles in the space of 50 minutes, crazy! You definitely don't need a tour guide or snorkeling trip, just head to the beach, pay the marine fee and go snorkelling to the magical underwater land yourself! ✨ Finished the trip with drinks at our favourite live music bar, Smooth Cafe. They have a band on here every night and it's such good vibes to drink a Red Horse too - 6.9% beer is DANGEROUS cause it goes down so well... We loved the nightlife in Moalboal especially as everything was in walking distance! Overall it was a fantastic place to stay during our time in Cebu. Thanks so much for watching!
