Welcome to the third episode of the NERDCAST BLITZ! Today, RAMONES MUSEUM founder Flo Hayler talks about "Pinhead", the song and the stage character. Released on their second album "Leave Home", "Pinhead" soon became a fan's favourite, as the track was a call to arms for all the freaks and misfits. In 1978, the RAMONES made the "Pinhead" part of their shows, when a roadie put on a dress and Schlitzie rubber mask, handing Joey the "Gabba Gabba Hey" sign and dancing around on stage. "Pinhead" was inspired by Tod Browning's 1932 movie "Freaks", which the RAMONES got to see one rainy summer night in Cleveland Ohio, June 1976. Once again apologies for Flo's bad English. This time he couldn't get the word "abnormalities" right, but he promised to perform better next time. Please subscribe this channel if you like the RAMONES, and please go to www.ramonesmuseum.com/nerdcast to sign up for the NERDCLUB and support the NERDCAST freaks. Thanks again for watching! GABBA GABBA HEY!
