Gurukul basically implies the meaning of Guru's family. People in ancient India name it as आचार्यकुल and ऋषिकुल. What more better and favourable environment can be other than Gurukul for building life, for achieving the highest goals of human life, for studying texts like Vedas, Upanishads, Darshan Shastras, Yoga, Ayurveda, Religion, Culture, Life Science etc. Here in Gurukul, the Brahmacharis are imparted with both Shaastras(Arsa Books) and Shastras(Archery, Handling Sword, Lathi, Gada, Bhala etc.).
