Andhra Stampede: CM Naidu Offers Condolences, Says Organisers Did Not Inform Govt About Event

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu expressed deep sorrow over the stampede at the Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Kasibugga area of Srikakulam district, that claimed ten lives and left several others injured on Saturday. The Chief Minister said that the temple belonged to an individual and authorities were not informed about the event. Further, the CM ordered a probe into the incident and assured that strict action will be taken against those responsible for the stampede. "The government is committed to ensuring that not a single life is lost, but it is very unfortunate that such incidents occur during private programs.
