If you're stopping here on a Mediterranean cruise, we'll show you exactly what to do and see. Kotor is a stunning UNESCO World Heritage site and best of all for cruisers, the ships dock right at the entrance to the Old Town. You can walk straight off the ship and into your adventure! Our first mission was the famous hike up to Kotor Fortress (San Giovanni Fortress). It's a bit of a climb but the panoramic views over the medieval town and the beautiful Bay of Kotor are absolutely worth it. After the hike, we explored the charming, labyrinthine streets of Kotor's Old Town. We'll show you some of the beautiful churches including Saint Nicholas’ Church, Saint Luke’s Church and the impressive Saint Tryphon's Cathedral. The highlight for us was the breathtaking sailaway from the bay - Montenegro’s landscapes are truly unforgettable.
