This video is part of a series of reference videos for various tricks that may be encountered during a Max% Adult (and other) runs. ------------------------ This is a video of some ways to get through the Ice Cavern without bottles. = Red Ice Clip to Compass/HP Room = 1. Jumpslash (you should see Link kinda clip for a second) 2. Place a Bomb (don't shield-drop it) 3. Hold Forward and pull out sword 4. Right before the bomb explodes, Jumpslash = Red Ice Clip to Block/Rupee Room = 1. Locate the 3 icicles (under the Gold Skulltula), and destroy the 2 that are furthest from the red ice wall 2. Target the wall next to the remaining icicle 3. Turn around 4. Walk a few steps (and you're just close enough to recoil by crouch stabbing) 5. Crouch stab (release inputs after you begin the stab) 6. Buffer to the frame where Link is being pushed backwards. Equip Hover Boots. 7. Hold the stick Up to Up-Left JUST until Link clips 8. Quickly slide the stick Up to Up-Right to get back in bounds before the hover ends = Red Ice Clip to Iron Boots Room = 1. Position Link in the corner between the wall and the red ice 2. Turn around 3. Use C-Up or Hookshot to aim towards the bottom tip of the icicle (it isn't too precise) 4. Crouch stab (release inputs after you begin the stab) 5. Buffer to the frame where Link is being pushed backwards. Equip Hover Boots. 6. Hold the stick Up (yes, Up) during unpause lag until you clip = Map/Compass Red Ice Clip = 1. Get as close as possible to the front of the chest 2. Turn around (away from the chest) 3. Place a Bomb (don't shield-drop it) 4. Turn around (towards the chest) 5. Buffer until the 2nd damage frame (the frame right AFTER Link takes damage) 6. Hold A during unpause lag = Heart Piece = 1. Squeeze Link into the area between the wall and the HP red ice 2. Stop moving and it will push you back out 3. Place a Bomb here (don't shield-drop it) 4. Start squeezing Link back into the area between the wall and the ice. This time, keep going until you're almost all the way to the other side. 5. Stop moving again. While it's pushing you back out, face Down-Right 6.
