Jimmy Miller, Leslie Brian and Billy Ternent (Vocal Trio) with Mrs. Jack Hylton (aka Ennis Parkes) and Her Band. Recorded in London on May 16th 1936. The song was written by Tommie Connor and Eddie Lisbona and has been also recorded that year by Jay Wilbur and His Orchestra. "Mrs Jack Hylton was Ennis Parkes. Her real name was Florence Parkington (1894-1957). She was a talented singer, dancer and pianist and led a band from 1933-1937. She was also the first wife of the successful English bandleader Jack Hylton (1892-1965), to whom she was married from 1922-1929. She made a series of 9-inch records for the low-cost label Crown in the period 1935-1936. The Crown records were sold in the UK department store Woolworths. It was a fine band, thanks in part to the orchestrations of Billy Ternent (1899-1977), the arranger of the Jack Hylton Band."
