Meet the Gumback Family. Yes, I gave my vegan DIY gel plates names (not in this video yet) - because honestly, they all have their own personality. And giving them names just makes it easier to remember their recipes and quirks. These plates made a glorious comeback, and since all the extra gelling agents happen to be gums, the family name Gumback felt just right. In this video, I’m testing a homemade vegan gel plate - based on agar and LBG (locust bean gum). You’ll see how it behaves when printing — simple, curious, and full of little surprises. Ther will be a second part to Libby Bean Gumback (LBG) that has the X factor. As that plate is even better, I´m going to share the improved recipe in the next one.
