The heated platen dimensions: 2,850 mm x 1,550 mm (112" x 61") For 3D applications with high capacity, the use of the VARIOPRESS® provides excellent flexibility in the production of high gloss surfaces, radius fronts or for 3D veneer applications. Overall Description: VarioPin system with Paternoster, Automatic Foil Cutting System, (3) shuttling tray tables, and automatic Pin. Automatic electrically controlled lifting of workpieces via modular pins (replaces spacer boards). Scanner unit maintains only the pins beneath the workpiece lifted and automatically resets all pins after each cycle. Press System: Hydraulic single daylight down stroke press; Structure/body consists of steel frames that are bolted together to form a closed unit. Each frame is flame-cut and manufactured out of a single piece of steel. Pressing pressure max: 8 bars (117 PSI). Pin System/Configuration: (2) Tables, Auto system shuttle feeding carriages in a straight line on one end of the press. Carriage tables are automatically transported in/out of the press and cycled automatically by the feed system through the press per PDF layout attached under Literature. The scissor lift unit in front of the press (over-under configuration) allows trays to pass through the press below the closed platens to the foil lay-up station in front of the Paternoster.
