North Broad Physical Therapy Center prepares next generation of community-minded PTs

Founded in October 2015, and officially opened in January 2016, the North Broad Physical Therapy Center (NBPTC) is a student-run and faculty-advised pro-bono physical therapy clinic located on Temple University’s Health Sciences Campus in North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is a collaboration of the University, the College of Public Health, the physical therapy program, and people who believe in serving the Philadelphia community. Temple’s DPT students and licensed physical therapists from the community evaluate and treat clients of any age with muscle, bone, joint, balance or neurological dysfunctions. They dedicate themselves to educating and providing quality care to the North Philadelphia community, and empowering fellow neighbors in the community to lead healthier lives. They proudly offer free services to our patients, and since their inception they have saved patients and insurers over $50,000.
